Welcome to the Oberbeck Farm Neighborhood Association website!
This site was created to keep our neighbors informed of upcoming events and news within the area.
About our neighborhood
Oberbeck Farm is a Crosland Home development built in the late 70's and early
80's. It is a lovely, quiet, wooded neighborhood consisting of 160 homes,
all built on cul de sacs. The two entrances to our neighborhood are from Sharon
Road West and an indirect entrance from Lytham Road in Brandon Forest.
We are protected by the South Division (formerly called Baker 2) of the Charlotte Mecklenburg police department. Our neighborhood community coordinator is Officer John A. Kitchens. His contact information is:

CONGRATULATIONS
TO Sergeant Travis Pardue, Officer
John Kitchens, and Officer Steve Whitesel
South Division
Out of 442 police nominations, these policemen were among the twelve finalists
who have been awarded The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Community Relations
Award for the year 2010. This award recognizes officers from the Char-Meck
Police Department for building positive, problem-solving relationships and
improve community involvement with individual citizens and neighborhood groups.
Oberbeck Farm is so fortunate to have these men involved with our neighborhood.
They work tirelessly to keep us informed about community involvement, crime
prevention awareness, open communication lines, and keeping us safe. We are
grateful to know they are here for us. At our next annual meeting and/or see
them around our neighborhood, please give these officers a heartfelt thank
you.
